In Finland 45% of men are unemployed. Only 8% of women are unemployed and over 50% of youth are unemployed. In Norway the numbers are around 2%

In USA the church has the bishops warehouse... but not in Finland. I hope the church there does help the families. The bad thing is you can not talk about need in Finland or in Norway. State will always give something so you survive, but the gap between poor and rich will get huge. Poor= those unemployed.
Would help if at least the kids could borrow skies, skates, .... aso... if they need some for school. It is not nice no to be able to take part in any activities as they are so expencive.
I hope church sees the needy also outside the USA. I once was in a situation where I had 2 kids and I was studying. For a few months I ate only staked cabbage, my kids got food in school. In weekends I made some food for us or we went to my mother to eat there.I ahd a car. Without it it had taken me about an hour longer to travell between my school and home.. There is always teh question waht the person really needs to have. I felt I needed the car, or my older should have been forced to get the younger from teh kindergarten and maybe taken her there too. I never told how little we had to survive with. It si not easy toa sk for help when you own your home and a car....

I hope everyone is doing ok everywhere!
