My wife and I served an 18 month mission in tiny Macau, China where we walked everywhere in the entire country except to the two islands. When we got off the plane at the end of our mission, if someone had been waiting for us with tickets in hand to go on another mission we would have immediately turned around and boarded a flight to anywhere.

There was no one waiting with tickets of course, but the Holy Spirit doesn't leave a willing Saint unengaged for too long. I learned about cyber missionary work and felt an intense DESIRE to get involved. Today I feel that although I haven't received an official call from church headquarters, that I am once again a full-time MISSIONARY. Only this time it's a live-at-home mission, no plane tickets required...

Yes, the missionary badge I wore on the crowded streets of Macau, complete with my Chinese name in Mandarin, is on my desk. It's right below the Garden Tomb minorah I bought to always remember a very special experience that occurred in that sacred place. And beside it is a small statue of liberty to keep in mind my country and the way it is changing, sliding ever further away from Jesus Christ whom it must serve if it is to remain prosperous, intact, and FREE.

It is my hope by creating this board that I can leverage some of that excitement and enthusiasm that is found among the Saints for sharing the joyful news that the Church of Jesus Christ is restored to earth again, with a living Prophet and Apostles as it was anciently. I hope to transfer some of that real world enthusiam for sharing the gospel to the great work that is taking place in cyber space.

That's what I do with my spare time...

I can honestly say that sharing the gospel for me is not a hobbie it's a passion. I have felt the great joy that come from bringing souls to Christ.

My other Hobbies are playing with My Guitar, Fishing , Hunting, Outdoors activities with my wonderful bride and our 3 beautiful children.

In my PB it says, that I will have a big name in missionarywork...  Shocked
Talking about passion...  Grin  I am doing so good as I can!
Sometimes I think what can a little woman like me, who has been in primary all her life (almost) in church do to be important in the missionary work. Anyway I been thinking it may be that I sent out 2 good missionaries.  Grin

My DH and I have a dream.... to sail in Caribean, tha Norwegean coast, the Finnish sea.... we are looking for some nice people with same values and interest to share the experience with. We stil have 2 years til our youngest is going on te mision, but then... if my DH is stil alive and well enough ( he is almost 10 years older than me). If anyone knows anyone who could use a handyman on a boat next year let me know.... We need possibly a catamaran as his ancle cant take beeing in an angle. Cats may sail a bit more evenly. Someone said they backlash in bad weather... what excactly does that mean?

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning Satan shudders and says "Oh crap ... she's awake!!!"
